Note: I'm actually not quite done with it, but any adjustment I make at this point will be minor. Also, I will probably do a digitally edited version in which I change some of the things that really bother me. Either way I will update this post with some additional background information.

Awesome! I've seen this through from early concept to (near-) completion. It's really really amazing. I love the background, the beings in the bubble, and the way the ship is anchored and mining the asteroid (that part in particular you've matured really well). job well done i shall say. obviously this didn't enter the contest that you originally had planned for it?
